Body building/work out transformation
A new series dedicated to bodybuilding/workout. My transformation from when I started at 16 and by 18 I was ripped and had gained roughly 38 lbs of muscle. I got distracted/lazy and stopped when I was 20. Over 3 and a half years, I lost over 20lbs of muscle. Now at 23, I am starting up again and will go back to my previous weight and beyond. T: Do you ever use Smith machines and do you have any strong opinions about that piece of equipment?
Dorian: Yeah, I used them for pressing movements, like incline press and shoulder press. I used it for squats, as well. I was brought up in the era of Tom Platz and he always said, "You've gotta squat; squats are the greatest thing for your thighs." Obviously it was true for Tom Platz. He had a good structure so that when he was squatting, the majority of the stress was taken by his quadriceps; his structure was quite short. So I was religiously squatting for the first five or six years that I was training. My legs were okay but they weren't great, until I began experimenting.
Then, squatting on a Smith machine, I could position my body so it was much more isolated on the quads, less glutes and lower back involvement, didn't have to worry about the balance aspect. Actually my legs improved a lot when I was doing Smith squats, hack squats, leg presses — I could isolate the thighs a lot more. So actually I used the Smith machine quite a bit for squatting.

Joel Posing 2
Tried to get a video similar to my first posing video a month ago (except better lighting hopefully). Weighing 214 here. I can tell I'm not quite as lean as before so I plan to slow down the weight gain. I have a little less than 4 months left of offseason.

The true secret to big biceps! Hint: it isn't curls. HD
Sharing is caring so I'm sharing the true secret to building perfect biceps. It may seem obvious but really, not enough people do pull-ups (both overhand and underhand grip). Hope you like the little flex I threw in too! :)
In my other video I showed you 21s which are great, but on my list of best biceps exercises, they come those come in at #2. In the future I will show how to "sculpt" the biceps to perfect that peak.

When my clients go on vacation, I write up a list of exercises that they can do while they're away. Since I'm not there to be a rep counter, they bring a pair of dice and roll the reps counts themselves. Easy and actually a fun way to challenge yourself.

MADTITAN Back Day
A glimpse of my back/shoulder workout (Excuse the lighting/pic quality). I use the law of reciprocal innervation to my advantage when I train both groups. Not seen in the video (cause of the camera angle) is the various grips I installed to do my back and also footage of my other back workout rope pull ups, heavy close grip pull ups, heavy chin ups and 1 arm pull ups. 3 of which I do later on during the week. Acompañar el entrenamiento con un plan de alimentación alto en energía y que provea cantidades adecuadas de proteínas: para ganar masa muscular efectivamente, se requiere un balance positivo de 500 -- 1000 calorías por día por sobre el gasto diario, esto a traves de un incremento en el consumo dietario. El aumento de calorías en el plan de alimentación es un efecto anabólico.
Los hidratos de carbono son los primeros nutrientes en los cuales focalizar para tener combustible necesario para realizar el entrenamiento y para estimular el crecimiento muscular. También es importante para el entrenamiento de estos atletas y para ganar masa muscular, conocer sus necesidades de proteínas incrementadas, pero se debe ser cuidadoso ya que no se requieren enormes cantidades de este nutriente. En la mayoría de los casos un plan alto en energía que provea 1.2 a 2 gr de proteínas por kg asegurara que las necesidades de proteínas están cubiertas. Un mayor consumo de estas no tiene un efecto anabólico. El exceso de proteínas será oxidado como fuente de energía y podría contribuir a la ganancia de masa grasa corporal. Además, dietas muy altas en proteínas desplazan otros nutrientes importantes de la dieta.
La ingesta hipercalórica debe estar constituida por un 55 -- 60% de hidratos, 12 -- 15% de proteínas y un 30% de grasa.
Es necesario ajustar el consumo de energía ya que un plan alto en calorías no es sinónimo de glotonería. Consumo excesivo de alimentos altos en grasa pueden conducir a un exceso de energía mayor al deseado y a un gran riesgo de ganar mas masa grasa que muscular.

Como Desarrollar Masa Muscular En El Cuerpo
Acompañar el entrenamiento con un plan de alimentación alto en energía y que provea cantidades adecuadas de proteínas: para ganar masa muscular efectivamente, se requiere un balance positivo de 500 -- 1000 calorías por día por sobre el gasto diario, esto a traves de un incremento en el consumo dietario. El aumento de calorías en el plan de alimentación es un efecto anabólico.
Los hidratos de carbono son los primeros nutrientes en los cuales focalizar para tener combustible necesario para realizar el entrenamiento y para estimular el crecimiento muscular. También es importante para el entrenamiento de estos atletas y para ganar masa muscular, conocer sus necesidades de proteínas incrementadas, pero se debe ser cuidadoso ya que no se requieren enormes cantidades de este nutriente. En la mayoría de los casos un plan alto en energía que provea 1.2 a 2 gr de proteínas por kg asegurara que las necesidades de proteínas están cubiertas. Un mayor consumo de estas no tiene un efecto anabólico. El exceso de proteínas será oxidado como fuente de energía y podría contribuir a la ganancia de masa grasa corporal. Además, dietas muy altas en proteínas desplazan otros nutrientes importantes de la dieta.
La ingesta hipercalórica debe estar constituida por un 55 -- 60% de hidratos, 12 -- 15% de proteínas y un 30% de grasa.
Es necesario ajustar el consumo de energía ya que un plan alto en calorías no es sinónimo de glotonería. Consumo excesivo de alimentos altos en grasa pueden conducir a un exceso de energía mayor al deseado y a un gran riesgo de ganar mas masa grasa que muscular.

Full routine of Algerian bodybuilder Momo Benaziza (مومو بن عزيزه) at the 1992 Mr. Olympia. Momo was one of the bodybuilders like Bertil Fox and Victor Richards that pushed the boundaries of muscularity in the 80s and 90s. Sadly he died of a heart attack a few days after this competition.

Healthy weight loss is sustainable and good for you if you're over weight. Starving, binging, purging are not good for you. Please don't do that to yourself. Most of the people in these photos are naturally thin. Not everyone is built that way. Not everyone can ever look like this. Please don't hurt yourself trying. Just eat right and exercise enough.
